Step-by-step walkthrough

Prefer screenshots to video? Every phase of the clear is below in order, with the block counts and the frames they were taken from โ€” keep it open next to the game and follow along tap by tap.

Level: 800 - a geometry puzzle rather than a picture: four square quadrants tiled with concentric square rings that spiral inwards to a small solid square, each centre square labelled 50. The top-left quadrant is red and sand rings around an orange-and-yellow square, the top-right is blue and cyan rings over a sand and purple square, the bottom-left is pink and purple rings over a green-and-yellow square, and the bottom-right is green and teal rings over a red-and-yellow square, all on a pale cream board.

How the Level Works

1. Tap a color block in the bottom queue to send it into one of the five slots above the hole. The queue holds four columns of blocks and only the block at the very front of a column is on the belt: tap it and the rest of that column rolls up behind it.

2. Ants of that color pour out of the hole and eat every reachable pixel of the matching color on the picture; the number printed on the block counts down while they work. At 0 the block vanishes and frees its slot, and a finished block also wears away to a blank body a second before it goes.

3. All five slots are open from the first second. The opening four blocks land inside two seconds of each other, the fifth slot takes its first block at 0:06.5, and from then on the run is a chain of refills.

4. Every block whose color is walled in will stall. This level is four nested spirals, so each color's pixels sit behind or in front of its neighbours and the number freezes for a long time. That is normal - the pixels fall the moment the blocking color is gone. Four blocks hold a slot for more than a minute each, and the worst one holds it for 1:19.

5. The board is a mathematical tile. Each quadrant is 20 by 20 cells of concentric square rings, and every ring has the same area as the solid 50-cell centre square - which is why each centre is stamped 50. That also means every color needs roughly the same amount of eating, so the order below mostly decides how fast the five slots recycle, not how much work is left.

6. Eat the entire picture to win. There is no move limit, so the order below only decides how fast the five slots recycle. One clean run takes 60 blocks and 5:12, and the Level Complete screen follows at 5:12.5.

Complete Block Order (Which Color First, Then Which)

Timestamps are when the block lands in a slot. Count is the number printed on the block as it starts eating. The numbers below run in tap order, not by slot: the same slot refills again and again.

Nothing is tapped between 0:17.5 and 0:39: all five slots are full and three of the blocks are stuck on walled-in pixels, so the queue sits idle for 21 seconds.

Pro Tips

1. Five slots, four queue columns. The queue holds four columns; the moment a slot frees up you can tap the front block of any column, and the column rolls up behind it. Tap the instant a slot empties - an empty slot is idle ants.

2. The whole level is four square spirals, so every color is walled in. Each quadrant is concentric square rings of two alternating colors plus a solid centre. A block can only eat the part of its color that is not covered by another color, so its number freezes for a minute or more at a time. Nothing is broken - the number jumps back to life as soon as the covering color is eaten.

3. The four longest holds define the level. Off-white 9 sits in slot 4 from 0:39 to 1:58 - 1:19 in one slot. Sand 53 holds slot 5 for 1:16 (2:03 to 3:19), Cyan 47 holds slot 1 for 1:15 (1:46.5 to 3:01.5), and Sand 49 holds slot 4 for 1:08 (3:59 to 5:07.5). Land these four early and the rest of the run is slot recycling.

4. Two long quiet stretches. Nothing is tapped between 0:17.5 and 0:39 (21 seconds) and again between 2:13.5 and 2:47.5 (34 seconds). Both are pure waiting on stuck blocks - do not read them as a mistake in the order.

5. The tiny numbers are walled-off leftovers, not free blocks. The Yellow 4 (step 39) and the Off-white 3 (step 46) drop to 1 within a second of landing and then sit on that single pixel until the colour covering it is eaten - the Off-white 1 blocks slot 3 for 29 seconds. They still occupy a slot, so do not land them expecting a quick recycle; they free up the moment their blocker goes.

6. Dark grey only turns up four times (steps 10, 12, 19 and 48) and never holds a slot for more than 20 seconds - it is the outline that frames every quadrant and every ring, thin and easy to reach. Drop it whenever it reaches the front of its column.

7. The centre squares are stamped 50 on purpose. Every ring of a quadrant has the same area as the solid centre square, so the board is perfectly balanced between colors. That is why no single color runs away with the level and why the finale is a slow crawl: the last blocks have very few pixels left but they are spread thin around the spirals.

8. The queue drains out from under you. It starts full - four columns, three or more blocks deep - and thins steadily as you tap. The last two minutes run on a nearly empty belt: by the endgame there is usually a single column of one or two blocks left, and at 5:02 the whole queue is down to one block. Once it is empty you can only wait, so keep a block in every free slot.

9. The endgame is a burst of small blocks. Between 4:17.5 and 4:29 six blocks land in eleven seconds (Green 57, Teal 29, Yellow 16, Cyan 56, Blue 67 and Pink 34), and the last eleven blocks are mostly ring colours - six of them are Purple, Blue, Teal or Cyan.

10. Finale. The last block you place is Purple 32 at 5:06.5; the last pixels fall at 5:12 and the Level Complete screen follows at 5:12.5, with no failed taps and no wasted moves.
