Step-by-step walkthrough

Prefer screenshots to video? Every phase of the clear is below in order, with the block counts and the frames they were taken from — keep it open next to the game and follow along tap by tap.

Level: 1181 — a pixel-art picture of a smiling mushroom character with a red-and-white spotted cap, standing on a teal background full of light-blue droplets, framed by a green vine border with grass and blue water along the bottom (marked HARD Level). Cleared in one run in 69 blocks.

Colors in this level: ⬛ Dark grey (the deep background outside the vine border and every outline) · 💠 Teal (the main background behind the mushroom) · 🩵 Cyan (the rain droplets and the highlights) · 🟦 Blue (the water along the bottom) · 🟩 Green (the vine border and the grass) · ⬜ Off-white (the mushroom’s spots, its frill and the pale highlights) · 🟤 Tan (the mushroom’s body) · 🩷 Rose (the mushroom’s cap and its mouth) · 🩷 Pale pink (the soft shading under the cap) · 🟧 Orange (a small accent) · 🟣 Purple (a small accent)

How the Level Works

1. Tap a color block in the bottom queue to send it into one of the five slots above. The queue runs in four independent columns, three blocks deep, and a column only scrolls up when its own front block is taken — so the block you want is not always in the leftmost column.

2. Ants of that color pour out of the hole and eat every reachable pixel of the matching color on the picture; the number printed on the block counts down while they work. At 0 the block vanishes and frees its slot.

3. Pixels can be walled in. A block can sit with a handful of pixels left for minutes while the rest of its color is buried under other colors, and this level leans on that hard: the Teal 33 sits in slot 3 from 0:04 to 0:52, the Teal 30 in slot 2 from 0:10 to 0:52, the Off-white 19 in slot 4 from 0:28 to 1:22, and the Tan 30 in slot 1 from 0:18 all the way to 1:58.

4. Some blocks carry a golden badge around the number. These are bonus blocks; they play exactly like a normal block and are listed below with their normal color name.

5. Eat the entire picture to win. There is no move limit, so the order below only decides how fast the five slots recycle. A clean run places all 69 blocks between 0:04 and 4:42, the board is empty at 4:55, and the Level Complete screen appears at 4:58.

Pro Tips

1. Keep all five slots full. Every second a slot sits empty is a second no ants are working. The opening five blocks all land within three seconds, and the whole level never really slows down except during the one long stall described below.

2. Big blocks first when you have a choice. The heaviest blocks are the Dark grey 110 (4:42), the Dark grey 108 (3:42) and the Teal 100 (2:22); the second Teal 100 (4:36), the Teal 99 (4:06) and the Dark grey 99 (4:22) are right behind. They cover the largest connected areas, so seat them as soon as their column reaches the front.

3. Expect a full board of stalls. From 0:28 to 0:45 all five slots are tied up at the same time — Tan 30, Teal 30, Teal 33, Off-white 19 and Green 20 — and nothing you tap makes any of them drain faster, so those 17 seconds are pure waiting. The board only speeds up again once the Tan 30 finally empties at 1:58.

4. Feed the blockers, not the stuck blocks. Several blocks hold a slot for a minute or more because their color is buried: the Tan 30 runs from 0:18 to 1:58, the Rose 20 from 0:53 to 2:16, and the Off-white 18 from 3:14 to 4:12. They only finish once the colors stacked on top of them are eaten, so tap those instead of waiting on the stuck block.

5. The finale is Teal. The very last pixel to fall is Teal — the Teal block seated in slot 3 at 4:36 is the one that empties the board at 4:55.

6. One-run clear time: about 4:55 of tapping, with the Level Complete screen at 4:58.
