Step-by-step walkthrough

Level: 841 - a pixel-art fisherman standing with his hands on his hips: dark grey hair and beard, a teal headband, a white t-shirt with pale-pink sleeves, red polka-dot shorts and cyan shoes, holding a wicker basket full of blue fish in his left hand, against an orange-and-yellow rayed background

How the Level Works

1. Tap a color block in the bottom queue to send it into one of the five slots above the hole. The queue starts as a three-column grid, three blocks deep, and it narrows as the level runs down: it drops to two columns at 3:52, to one column at 4:40 and runs dry at 4:48.

2. Ants of that color pour out of the hole and eat every reachable pixel of the matching color on the picture; the number printed on the block counts down while they work. At 0 the block vanishes and frees its slot.

3. All five slots are open from the first second. The opening three blocks land within one second of each other and the first tap comes at 0:04.

4. Pixels can be walled in. A block can sit on a handful of pixels for minutes while the rest of its color is buried under other colors. That is normal - the pixels fall the moment the blocking color is gone. The worst stall here is Brown 10 in slot 1, which holds the slot for 2:01 (0:04 to 2:06).

5. One block arrives wrapped in cloth (step 13). It lands as a blank bundle with no number and a knife cuts it open a moment later to reveal a Dark grey 100.

6. Eat the entire picture to win. There is no move limit, so the order below only decides how fast the slots recycle. One clean run takes 4:59, and the Level Complete screen follows at 5:00.

Complete Block Order (Which Color First, Then Which)

Timestamps are when the block lands in a slot. Count is the number printed on the block as it lands. The numbers below run in tap order, not by slot: the same slot refills again and again.

Phase 3 - The Long Stall Breaks (1:38 - 1:44.5)

The queue is completely idle for 53 seconds here - nothing changes between 0:44.5 and 1:38, because every slot is full and three of the blocks are stuck on walled-in pixels. Then slot 2 frees up and the run restarts.

Pro Tips

1. All five slots are open from the first second. There is no locked slot on this level, so the opening three blocks (Brown 10, White 9 and Dark grey 5) land within one second of each other. Tap the next block the moment a slot empties - an empty slot is idle ants.

2. The two Brown blocks are the bottleneck of the level. Brown 10 lands at 0:04 and holds slot 1 until 2:06 - 2:01 in one slot. Brown 20 lands at 1:38 and holds slot 2 until 2:20. Brown is the wicker basket and the fishing rod, and the basket's pixels are walled in behind the blue and cyan of the fish, so the number crawls and then sits still for minutes. Nothing is broken; it is just blocked.

3. White 9 sits in slot 2 for 1:25 (0:05 to 1:30). White is the t-shirt and the polka dots on the shorts; the last of them are buried under the pink sleeves.

4. Sand 53 lands at 0:30 and holds slot 4 for 1:36. Sand is the fisherman's skin, and the light skin is almost the same shade as the wooden panel behind the queue, so it is easy to scroll straight past. Skipping it stalls the finale.

5. One block arrives wrapped in cloth (step 13). The Dark grey 100 lands at 1:39 as a blank bundle with no number and is cut open a moment later. It is the biggest single block of the level - land it as early as you can.

6. Two of the Red blocks are special. Steps 16 and 19 are drawn with a crimson body and a gold dotted counter panel. The Red 15 is gone in about 3 seconds and the Red 30 in about 10, so they behave like free extra diggers - drop them into any free slot.

7. The queue narrows as it empties. It is three columns wide until 3:52, drops to two until 4:40, to a single column until 4:48, and then it is empty. Whole columns are used up, so the last few blocks roll up from below.

8. The endgame is Yellow. Three of the last four blocks are Yellow (78, 83 and 94), and the very last pixel left on the board is a yellow speck of the background rays.

9. Finale. The last block you place is Yellow 94 at 4:48; the last pixels fall at 4:59 and the Level Complete screen follows at 5:00, with no failed taps and no wasted moves.
