Step-by-step walkthrough

Prefer screenshots to video? Every phase of the clear is below in order, with the block counts and the frames they were taken from — keep it open next to the game and follow along tap by tap.

Level: 188 — pixel-art scene on a light-grey board: a soccer player volleys the ball toward the goal, built from dark outlines, a big blue/cyan centrepiece and peach/pink accents (the tan band at the top of the screen is never eaten)

Source: frame-by-frame analysis of the Level 188 recording — 319 frames @ 2 fps, every block tracked

Blocks fed: 33 | Eatable pixels: ~74,000 | Move limit: none — the order only changes speed

Timestamp convention: times below are video timestamps — the moment a block lands in a slot.

How the Level Works

1. Tap a food block in the bottom queue (3 columns × 3 visible rows) to send it into one of the 5 slots above. 2. Ants of that color pour out and eat every matching pixel on the picture; the number on the block counts down as pixels disappear. 3. When a block hits 0 it vanishes and frees its slot. The queue refills and the next block slides up. 4. Eat all the coloured pixels to win. Pixels buried under other colours pause the block ("stuck") until the neighbouring colour opens the way — this is normal and happens a lot in this level. 5. Nine block colours appear here: salmon (red), cyan, dark grey, blue, mauve (grey-purple), pink, orange, white and peach (cream). The flat light-grey background of the artwork is _not_ eatable — only the coloured objects are.

Pro Tips

1. Fill all 5 slots in the first 20 seconds. The opening is dense: by 0:11 four blocks are already eating, and the board never goes idle again. 2. Dark grey is the backbone. Nine of the 33 blocks are dark grey — they eat the black outline pixels that cover most of the artwork, and they recycle their slot fastest. Keep one running at all times. 3. Expect long stalls — this is a slow level:

  • Orange (0:52): stuck from 0:52 until ~2:18 — its pixels are buried under the dark outlines. It finally drains in the endgame.
  • Cyan (0:05): stuck for ~45 s until the blue block opens the centre object.
  • Mauve (0:10) and blue (0:10): both sit for 30–40 s before draining.
  • White (1:11): drains slowly for ~38 s; white (1:51) is stuck until ~2:32.
  • Peach (1:29): stuck until the final sweep.

4. Big blocks go in early even if they stall. The two long-lived blocks (orange at 0:52, white at 1:51) pay off late: they clear the last big colour masses in the endgame. 5. Don't panic when a slot seems frozen. The number stops counting down but the block is not wasted — it is waiting for the neighbouring colour to free its pixels. 6. Finale colour: peach. The last block seated (2:25) is peach, and the final pixels fall at ~2:27. 7. No fail state. Order only changes speed — this run cleared in one pass, board finished at ~2:33 (video time), level-complete screen at ~2:38.

_Compiled from frame-by-frame video analysis: 319 frames @ 2 fps. Every block in this guide was observed entering a slot and clearing (the 5-slot row and the 3×3 queue were tracked programmatically on every frame, and each block's drain was cross-checked against the per-pixel disappearance of its colour on the board). The exact printed block values could not be read reliably from the compressed recording — the game's number boxes are small and low-contrast — so this guide lists colours, order and timing, which is what determines the clear._
